PLA++ has significantly higher impact strength and is considerably less brittle than standard PLA. These properties make it ideal for functional parts like GoPro® mounts, brackets and threaded objects. This material opens new possibilities for applications requiring functionality, yet retaining the printability of general PLA. Where PLA snaps, PLA++ bends and doesn’t lose its cool.
We take uniformity seriously at Breathe-3DP. All filaments are constantly monitored for diameter consistency and ovality during production with a tri-axis laser. Any filament that falls out of specification gets scrapped and does not make it onto a spool. Our uniformity check system is how we assure you achieve high quality prints with the flex of PLA++.
Breathe-3DP hosts an in-house print lab consisting of over 36 printers from a range of manufacturers. All lots of PLA++ are printed and tested for color uniformity. We also print ASTM test bars to get you physical property data of printed parts, available on our Technical Data Sheet.
